Individual messages from net.sf-lovers are sent to the Arpanet address and then included in the sf-lovers digest which is sent to the various subscribers and fa.sf-lovers as well. The incoming Arpanet sf-lovers messages are sent to net.sf-lovers, rather than the digest, as had been done up until yesterday. This scheme eliminates the redundancy noticed in the earlier digests posted to net.sf-lovers that caused Usenet readers to see Usenet messages twice, once as separate messages in readnews/notes and once in the digest. Now, the messages appear only once and in individual format, enabling you to skip messages that are of no interest, without having to scan past them to get to interesting stuff, as is often the case with the digest.
