there has been a conspicuous absence of fa.sf-lovers during the past few weeks. i was gone during much of december, so i may have missed some news - but what happened to fa.sf-lovers? when this happened before, someone ended up passing things from an arpa gateway on thru to net.sf-lovers. could this be begun again? or are we experiencing some sort of a local problem here at hocs* ? tom love houxi!hocse!jtl

When the Arpanet went to TCP at Jan 1, I disconnected the list until such time as the net is back more-or-less to its old glory. Right now, mail, ftp, and telnet are all unreliable between random sites. I suspect it will be activated in two or three months and the flow of Arpanet sf-lovers mail will again reach net.sf-lovers (and the other way 'round too). Stuart
