So the remaining question is: what C/C++ product is the top contender for
writing sophisticated graphics/windowing programs which will run under
_both_ Windows and plain MSDOS?

CommonView? Zinc? C++/Views? Vermont Views? Is C-Scape in there?
It would be a great service to the community if someone could
post two or three lines reviewing each.
