I have recently stepped into the C++ world and 'am in the process of selecting
an appropriate compiler/translator for VAX/VMS and IBM/mainframe. Can some
knowledgeable user help me out with the following questions. I appologise for
any question that may have been asked before.
1) Are there any compiler/translators available for IBM-mainframes using
VM-CMS ? Any experience in porting cfront ?
2) For DEC/VAX/VMS - there seems to be only two companies (Oasys & Oregon)
who have ported cfront. Oregon claims that they have a true C++
debugger whereas Oasys has a C debugger (takes care of mangled names).
Which is the better one (stability etc...) in their latest release ?
Any relevant information about these companies/products will be useful.

Oregon C++ is not a cfront port, but an independent development of a compiler which generates object code directly. A new release should be out soon.
