[comp.lang.c++] c++ for the Mac's

Other than with MPW, which I find too costly, what c++
compilers are available for the Mac?

Think C has some object-oriented extensions, but they seem
incompatible with c++, and it would probably be a problem
to port any program that uses these to real c++ environment
on a Unix box. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hi Russell,

you're right, Think C is only a (more or less poor) subset and
not a real C++. You have two choices as far as I can see and it
seems that you don't like the first one - MPW C++. The only
alternative is Zortech C++ (about $500) and you would get a MPW
C Bundle plus C++ for nearly the same prize. Best regards
