Wait a second! This couldn't have been posted by Doug! This is what we've
been trying to convince the real Doug of for months! It's obvious that
someone is faking Doug messages again because the real Doug has done far more
than "imply" that Madonna isn't good music.

Of course this does have a slight indication of authenticity: The person seems
to be saying that it's only wrong to imply that music is "bad" when the music
really is "good" (according to Dougs definition I suppose) but you just can't
appreciate it. This wrings of Alanism as we all know the real Doug has
repeatedly failed to recognize that the reason you may think music is "bad" may
also be because you fail to appreciate it.

And this fake message deliberately misquoted my original title which was
"I Don't Have to Like Kate Bush? Do I?", whereas the message quotes me
as saying "I Don't Have to Like Anybody but Steve Morse, Do I?". The
real Doug would never do this because he has complained bitterly about
people doing this very thing to him.

Alas, if only it were the real Doug. I'm going to save it anyway and use it
for quotes in response to Dougs future postings. If by some chance he did
really write it, it'll keep him honest. If he didn't, it's still good advice.

P.S. I thought it worth mentioning that I'm writing this while listening
to "Never For Ever" for about the 12th time trying as best as I can to
learn to "appreciate" it, the result of having received recommendations
for Bush from more objective sources.
