i am interested in getting C++ for use here at ADS, and since i don't want to do a port from the AT&T package (we run Suns), i am looking at Designer C++ from Oasys. i know that their ports (from AT&T package) are actually done for them by Glockenspeil (sp?) in Ireland, and i believe that company has a somewhat better reputation than Oasys itself. If anyone has experiencew with ... a) Oasys or Glockenspeil (incl. general tech support, etc.) b) Designer C++, in general c) Designer C++, for Suns in particular d) C++ as a partner with Common Lisp or Scheme for doing symbolic computing (this would seem to be perfect for C++) ... i would be *more* than happy to hear from you. i will summarize this information to the list, so please watch here and don't send "me-too" mail. Thanks. -neville p.s. ignore incorrect return address, the one below is correct. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ U.S. Mail: Neville D.
