When reading the following questions, please keep in mind that I am a beginner C user -- an addicted C user, but still a beginner... I am using Borland's Turbo C on a 640K, 2-floppy IBM PC with DOS 2.1. 1) When copying the command-line version, TCC, and everything needed from the third disk to use it onto a floppy disk, I couldn't fit the last few .H files that the User's Guide told me to copy. I formatted the disk with format b:/v command, so it had the whole disk to work with. Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions? (Note: I even used the small model library, I -really- wonder how I would copy all the huge model libraries.) 2) When trying out a few beginner programs (i.e. Hello World, Fahrenheit to Celsius, etc.), I noticed how incredibly huge such seemingly miniscule programs took up in the .exe form! The Fahrenheit conversion one was about 10 lines long and about 19K on disk!!! Is this normal?? Alas, I am only a novice... William L.
