[comp.lang.c] Good C tutorial

  Several people have asked for and received information concerning
a good C book.  I would like to add another book to the C reading list.

                C Notes  A guide to the C Programming Language
                by C.T. Zahn
                Yourdon Press; NYC

   This book focuuses primarily on the portable aspects of C and thoroughly
describes the language's syntax, external and local declarations, and
macro preprocessor facilities.  It also covers parameters, program
libraries, and machine dependencies, among other topics.
