I think that the bulk of the readership of this newsgroup relies on the 
spectrum of experience to help us dicern for ourselves whether the original
poster expressed fact, opinion, or heresay. As far as I am concerned, there
are no gods in this newsgroup - just people who feel strongly enough about
their positions to express so. I learn from their mistakes as they learn
from mine. Isn't that the whole idea in the first place? If none of us 
cared to learn from our own insidious mistakes, then why post publically
at all?
