Hello out there, I am a newcomer in this net and my first action
here is a cry for help:
In my company we are using C on various systems as MS-DOS, VMS,
UNIX, etc. and therefore portability is very important for our program
development. For this reason we use LINT, which, as you all know, is not
available under VMS (which is our main development system). We found
Gimpel's LINT processor to be the best so far for the PC (it has been
mentioned here often, so I think, that our decision was not so bad).
Therefore we always transmit our VMS C files to our PC, lint them, fix
them on VMS, transmit them, ... . It's rather boring. Does anybody know
whether Gimpels LINT could be made available for VMS? Or does anybody know
another way to get a VMS LINT?
