[comp.lang.c] Xenix: Compilers Available?

tanner@ki4pv.uucp (Tanner Andrews) (10/16/87)

For xenix, one can get the microsoft C compiler, as modified by your vendor.
Does anyone know of any alternative C compilers available to run under xenix?
In particular, supported (commercial) products are of interest, though a
particularly good PD program would also be OK.

Microsoft C is available from Microsoft for either MS-DOS or XENIX.
We use the MS-DOS version. A page or two in the appendix of the
manual lists the differences between the MS-DOS and XENIX versions,
and provides suggestions on how to make code portable between the
two supported environments.
