I am interested in writing a machine description for a nonexistent machine. This is intended for use with the GNU C Compiler. The file internals which comes with the GNU C Compiler has a lot of material on how to do this and it is pretty well written. However, I still have trouble seeing how to proceed. I would welcome suggestions on how to proceed systematically with this. I would also like to find individuals willing to correspond with me regarding the preobl e--sorry--- problems which arise.
