I am trying to write some "portable" code and would like to be able to say struct fred a; struct fred b; b = a; and have the obvious thing happen. Could some kind soul let me know what flavours of un*x this will (or will not) work under? I know it's ok on BSD4.[23]. Is it in ANSI C??? Thanks alot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terry Jones, Department Of Computer Science, University Of Waterloo Waterloo Ontario Canada N2L 3G1 {ihnp4,allegra,decvax,utzoo,utcsri,clyde}!watmath!watdragon!tcjones tcjones@dragon.waterloo.{cdn,edu} tcjones@WATER.bitnet tcjones%watdragon@waterloo.csnet [from oz, tcjones@dragon.waterloo.cdn@munnari] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
