Someone stated that Turbo C 1.5 is advertised as shipping but it is actually not. He asked if MS is "as bad." I have a part-time job in a computer store which has Turbo 1.5 and MS-QuickC (latest version) both in stock. Maybe they just aren't shipping to YOU :-) Tom Limoncelli Drew U/Box 1060/Madison NJ 07940 Bitnet: tlimonce@drew.BITNET Disclaimer: These are my views, not my employer or Drew Univesity. "Thank you. For what it's worth, I called Borland when I first saw the announcement on the 1.5 upgrade, and they shipped it to be within a week. The graphics library is really a low level set of device drivers for drawing primitives such as lines, circles, arcs, etc. It most certainly is not GKS, or CORE, etc. BUT the support of a wide range of graphics boards is nice. There have been discussions on info-pc that indicate how difficult it can be to auto-detect which board you have installed. For anyone thinking about doing graphics with Turbo C 1.5, a good graphics text is still an absolute must (e.g., Foley & VanDam).
