For PC products at least, the documentation comes with the product, and if you have a legal copy of the product, you have the documentation. I realize that sometimes it's useful to look at the documentation to decide whether you want to buy something, but in general to sell documentation separately would be an open invitation to software piracy. So I doubt that Microsoft, or any other micro software vendor, is very interested in selling you a copy of any of their manuals. For a definitive answer, call them at 206-882-8088 and ask them. -- John R. No, software companies no longer sell "just the documentation" to packages. This is due to piracy. Just another fine reason why pirates have ruined the micro sofware industry for paying customers. (Actually, pirates can now find books published about software which duplicates all the information to be found in the manual) Vehemently angry about piracy, (but not insinuating you pirate) Tom Limoncelli Drew U/Box 1060/Madison NJ 07940 Bitnet: tlimonce@drew.BITNET Disclaimer: These are my views, not my employer or Drew Univesity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
