A couple of weeks ago someone was asking about a C compiler and operating system for the Motorola DSP56000. Motorola has a C compiler for the part, hosted on PCs, Suns, or Vaxen running BSD or VMS. JMI Software sells a real-time kernel called C-Executive (95% written in C) which they would be willing to port if there was sufficient interest. Contact at JMI is Ed Rathje, (215)628-0840.
