Re: Turbo C, version 2.0 ???

I've just received a flyer from the Howard W. Sams (Hayden Books) people
inviting me to purchase their wares. Among which is a book entitled:

	"Turbo C 2.0 Developer's Library"

Looks good, BUT did I miss something? IS THERE A V2.0 OF TC AVAILABLE?
If so, when was it announced?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Ah, the vagaries of publication schedules (books or software, take your pick)!
Of course, there will be a version 2.0 of Turbo C someday.

Just not right now.

It looks like the publisher has a special deal with Borland and is trying
to time the release of the book with the release of the software product.
Their announcement indicates that either Borland is on the verge of
announcing Tubo C 2.0 or that they blew the timing. Your guess is as good
as mine.

I suspect if you order the book now, you may not see it for a few months.

I'd bet that turboc c 2.0 is the intended version number for when the
ansi standard is finalized.
