I believe the name of the book that Steven Gutfreund described in SF-LOVERS Digest V8 #37 is "I Weapon". Although I read the book quite a while ago and have forgotten some of the details, I would put the book at an ok level -- I wouldn't pay today's price of $3.95 for it (anyone care to place bets on when the first line of books start hitting $5.00?) /Eric
