[comp.lang.c] ANSI C Texts

Stephen Kochan has two texts on ANSI C being promoted by
the Howard W. Sams & Co.:
   Programming in ANSI C
   Programming in C, Revised Edition

Sams' ads for these books are almost word-for-word alike, in
both cases highlighting ANSI C revisions/additions to the language.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has seen both of
these books. What is the difference? It seems strange they
would publish two texts with virtually identical descriptions.
Which does the better job of explaining ANSI C?
