" The LAST city mentioned on the radio version is BALTIMORE " " This is true, but the Chicago radio stations have a version which continues: "Chicago! Kansas City!" and on to the refrain. " " He sings "In Cleveland" and then yells out "Detroit! oof! Heart of Rock and Roll!" and then they go into that (personal opinion) extremely boring musical refrain. " " Sorry to disappoint you guy, But he says BAL-TI-MORE!! " " After driving 2500 miles across this fruited-plain country of ours, listening to the radio, I realized that there are different versions of the Heart of Rock & Roll. As near as I could tell, Heuy spent some time dubbing in the names of most major cities near the end of the song. In 6 days, I counted no less than 4 different versions. " And there you have it, for what it's worth..... Dave Wargo ucbvax!sdcsvax!sdcsla:wargo
