[net.sf-lovers] New film based on Frank Herbert's "Dune"

Does anybody have any information, i.e. release dates, film company,
the actor portraying Paul Muad-Dib etc..., on this film.  I understand
that the fellow from the Police music group, Sting, will be one of the
performers.
