[comp.lang.c] C-library for graphical moving objects

ccenol@rivm.UUCP (Arnold Reinders) (05/19/89)

Hi everybody,

A group developers and I would like to build an environment in which
we can move graphical objects on a screen.
We would like to know whether there are standard C-libraries which
have routines for easily letting move objects upon a screen.
We will develop the program in C++, so we think any C-library will do.
We prefer to develop under MS-Windows, with the glockenspiel C++ compiler
and commonview, but maybe someone knows a reason to adopt another
approach.
It must run on an 80286 or higher, and preferably screen-independent, but
minimally Hercules, EGA and VGA.
I hope you have some suggestions. I will summarise all suggestions and
send it around.
Thanks in advance,

Arnold Reinders
