In the EMAIL confirmation sent to me were the following paragraphs, which may help explain why you have not yet seen the IOCCC results: Tradition has it that the first presentation of the winning programs is at the Usenet BOF. Next, the winners receive a copy of the winning entries by mail. Soon after, an initial posting will be sent to comp.lang.c, comp.unix-wizards and alt.sources. The initial posting period allows us to clear up mistakes and improve on the hint files. Often people report porting problems and suggest changes needed to run it on their machines. Once this input has been received, a final pass over the entries are made and sent to comp.sources.unix and the uunet archive site.
