nt lot last Thursday contained sets under construction for ST3. The building itself was damaged (gaping holes burned through the roof and walls) but the sets survived. Bill Shatner was actually out there holding fire hoses, helping to fight the blaze. Production on ST3 should be only slightly delayed. The most heartbreaking loss was of the 55 year old "New York street" -- a block of false fronts used for countless New York street scenes in many classic Paramount films. -c
