[comp.lang.c] malloc source needed

Does anyone have source code for a dynamic memory allocator in either 68000
assembly (NOT 680x0) or C? That I can have and incorporate into a product??
I'm familiar with the basic allocation schemes and could write one myself,
but would rather get one thats been used enough to flush
out bugs. Source is needed as we have rather weird requirements. I can
handle an algorithm, but I also understand the difficulty of describing
these beasts without pictures.

Some specifics:

1) We run under Hunter & Ready's VRTX real time operating kernal. For our
application their allocation scheme is useless.
2) The memory used is in banks of 8Meg, so I either need to modify the source
to understand bank switching or run 4 independant copies of the buggers.
Or get management to trash the 68000, which isn't going to happen...
3) The size of the memory blocks needed range from 400 bytes to 2.5 meg.
    Typical is around 32k.
3) I haven't been with this company long enough to have figured out a
reliable mail path, sorry about that.
