Never having had occasion to require this before, I wonder if I declared: char *foo; and wanted to use foo to hold a string which would be passed to a DOS function which worked on a string starting at an address in DS:DX, is 'foo' equal to the offset of that address, or the full 20 bit address ? More to the point, if it is equal to the 20 bit address, how do I find what the segment address, DS, is so I can find the offset ? Please reply directly to me, as I don't read this group much.
