I plan to purchase a '386 compiler to run on a PC-compatible system with a Weitek 3167 FPA. I am considering Metaware's High-C and MicroWay's NDP-C. I have all the advertising information about them, and have read two reviews of High-C. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any independent information about NDP-C, or about High-C versus NDP-C. I am hoping that someone on the net will be able to give me some first-hand impressions of NDP-C. I am also very keen to hear any information about the relative performance of these compilers. Please send me a copy of any responses via e-mail. Thanks in advance.

We are currently using NDP C386 from Microway to write code for an embedded controller. My general feeling is that the compiler is just O.K. We are still using a buggy beta version of the compiler (2.02), the support from Microway pales from what I am used to from Microsoft, and the documentation is woefully out of date. But, they promised new stuff real soon now...
