[net.sf-lovers] Star Bright

That was in the collection Tomorrow's Children collected by
Asimov. Sorry no author. The time travel mechanism seemed to
involve mobeus strips in higher dimensions.

I am pretty sure the name of the book is "The Mathematical Magpie".
As I recall, there is an earlier, companion book called "Fantasia
Mathematica", although I am not quite sure of the title. Both books
deal with math-oriented sf, and sort of predate popular sf. I
believe they describe themselves as mathematical fiction. I have not
read either for quite a while, but recall them as being very superior
collections. Star Bright was one of my favorites.
