Hello. I have been thrown into teaching a course in C to a group of new programmers next semester. We're using K+R 2 as a text and Turbo C/Professional on PS/2's. I'm looking for references to books that might be useful in some way: as an alternative textbook, as a supplementary textbook, as an aid to me in designing the class, as a reference book, etc. I have the following references, not all of which are complete 'C' related. Your comments are appreciated. Bentley, John: (1986) /Programming Pearls/, Addison-Wesley Darnell, Peter A, and Margolis, Philip E: (1988) /Software Engineering in C/, Springer-Verlag, Berlin Kernighan, , and Plauger, : (1976) /Software Tools/, Addison-Wesley, Reading Kernighan, , and Ritchie, : /C Programming Language, 2nd ed./ Knuth, Donald: (1973) /Art of Computer Programming/, Addison-Wesley, Reading Koenig, Andrew: (1989) /C Traps and Pitfalls/, Addison-Wesley Sedgewick, Robert: (1988) /Algorithms/, Addison-Wesley O-------------------------------------------------------------------------> | Cliff Joslyn, Cybernetician at Large, cjoslyn@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu | Systems Science, SUNY Binghamton, Binghamton NY 13901, USA V All the world is biscuit shaped. . . -- O-------------------------------------------------------------------------> | Cliff Joslyn, Cybernetician at Large, cjoslyn@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu | Systems Science, SUNY Binghamton, Binghamton NY 13901, USA V All the world is biscuit shaped. . .
