Could anyone recommend a good PC-based tutorial for learning C? I know that there are public domain programs along this line, but I don't know any specifics. Thanks in advance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Glen W. I found "C Tutor" by Gordon Dodrill of Coronado Enterprises to be a good introduction. It is public domain, available through PC-SIG's distribution channels. It expects that you know the fundamentals of programming in general (although no background in C). It has a pretty well-written manual and many example programs. I think it was PC-SIG disks 578 & 579. - John Whitehead
