There was a program called LIFE which I think was shipped as a demo
with MSC 5.0. It was a subject of some discussion a while back because
it seemed to simulate bacterial reproduction (or something like that).
The program, however, was written so as to be very PC dependent, i.e. all
of the cursor handling was very low-level. Does anyone have a version
of this program which uses a standard cursor handling package like Curses
and which might run under a Un*x environment?
