Hi, I was wondering if anyone out in netland has direct experience with Washington Independant Computer Consultants Association (WICCA), or the national chapter ICCA? They offer a referral database that is supposed to allow companies to get in touch with ICCA's member consultants for the purpose of getting contracts, etc. This service costs consultants somewhere around $500 per year. What I was wondering is: 1) Is anybody using this service? (either consultants or clients) 2) Does it WORK? 3) Roughly how many referrals can one expect in the course of a year? If one could reasonably expect enough referrals from the service to result in even one job per year, it would be a bargain. If no referrals came during the course of the year... well you know... I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has direct experience with WICCA, or for that matter any other association with similar goals. Thanks. Chuck Harris C.F.
