[comp.lang.c] Formatting C code in TeX

skeeve@pawl.rpi.edu (Sean C. Cox) (05/02/90)

Does anyone know where I can find a program that will read in C code
and give TeX output that highlights functions and variables and such?
I need this to run for either a SUN 3/50 or a PC.
Any pointers are greatly appreciated! Please e-mail and I'll post a
summary if there's enough interest.
    (I can ftp if necessary.)

                                        -Sean Cox

Well, I received enough questions about this to summarize:

     (1) the easiest way is to use the program "tgrind" which comes
with UN*X TeX distibutions (Or can be found at nearly any TeX ftp site).

     (2) There is a program called C++2latex which can be found on quite
a number of anonymous ftp sites that have TeX.

Thanks a lot to everyone who responded!

                                     -Sean
