I started a mailing list to deal with this sort of thing, and possibly to drain some of the speculative debates from comp.lang.c. Unfortuately, it's apparently more fun to talk about this stuff in a newsgroup... there hasn't been a submission to the C-FUTURES mailing list in months (if you have sent in a request to be added to the list, this is why you haven't seen anything), despite much active discussion in comp.lang.c.
