Plauger & Jim Brodie. It's not only affordable (US $7.95) but comprehensive and readable. The chapter which explains differences between ANSI-C and K&R C is rather short - but if you take into consideration that ANSI C tried not to break working code, this is sufficient. (Of course, ANSI-C identified many of the "grey areas" which were contained in K&R C. So, you should have good knowledge of K&R C or read the whole book, to understand all the implications of ANSI-C). -- Martin Weitzel, email: martin@mwtech.UUCP, voice: 49-(0)6151-6 56 83
