(Flame me if I'm wrong, but...) Didn't it occur to any of our inverters out there that INVERTING the bits in anything is so trivial that no-one would post a question about it ? Whoever posted the original article probably wanted to REVERSEthe _order_ of the bits, no ? There were a few (perhaps not so portable) suggestions so I won't repeat anything. At least they understood the question. Just look at all the bandwidth soaked up by people displaying their astounding knowledge of the "~" operator. I must admit, though, there were quite a few who were trying to invert without using the "~" operator. "... masochists, looking for a difficult solution to a simple problem ..." Quite amusing really. Well, now that I've soaked up my two bobs worth... Have a nice day ...
