[comp.lang.c] strupr

edh@ux.acs.umn.edu (Eric "The Mentat Philosopher" Hendrickson) (10/17/90)

Thanks everybody for your very helpful responses! I have pointers
straightened out in my head once and for all. My choice of "duh" was
indeed appropriate... :-)

A couple of people have mentioned the ANSI function strupr(), where can I
get an "official" implementation of this? Is there one? Some "official"
implementations of ANSI functions seem to exist, such as strftime().

Thanks again,
		Eric

There is no such function in ANSI C (although one may perhaps be provided
as a compiler-specific extension in certain ANSI C implementations).
