Place: San Fernando Vally of Los Angeles Editorial Assistant needed for mad but successful science fact/fiction writer. Initial salary $1000/month with raises to double that depending on productivity and usefulness. More interested in ability to write clear English sentences and recognize same than in ability to do computer work, but must not be afraid of small computers, and able to work with them. Must be willing to learn micro computers and write reports on various machines and software. Perks of job include lots of micro machine time and use of one for home. Much software available for test/evaluation including in useful work. Possibility of involvement with book projects which could earn royalties for future, but most work will be editorial (work for hire no residual ownershiop) at first. Should be able to type or at least able to work with word processor at reasonable rates. Should not be upset at being asked to fetch coffee, go to Post Office or copy house, run errands, do file work, read unsolicited manuscripts, write reports, anser telephone, put up with insane household of dogs, cats, children, mad writers, senior editoral associate, jealous housekeeper.
