I have written complete, descriptive solutions to EVERY problem in
the book
"TURBO C : The essentials of C programming", by Al Kelley & Ira Pohl.
The solutions use only the information in the current chapter containing the
question or previous chapters.
Helpful explanations are provided where difficult or interesting concepts are
required.
Good style is used throughout as well as liberal comments.
This has taken me about 6 hours per week for 2 years, or about 600 hours.
One of the questions took over 50 hours by itself!
I approached the Distributor in Australia - not interested as they give the
solution books to academic staff so there is no remuneration.
I would like to distribute this as SHAREWARE - the ZIP file is 300K in size.
I am concerned that I might be breaking copyright if I publish the code as
it contains a question description at the beginning of each solution, references
to pages in the text, etc.
This should help the sale of Kelley & Pohl's wonderful text so I see no harm
in publishing the solutions, but
"All rights reserved. No part of this publication may be reproduced, stored in
a retrieval system, or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic,
..., without the prior written permission of the publisher."
Any comments? Anybody interested in the solutions?
