THe cost for solar power producing satellites is also estimated there. Maybe some device can serve as both. (A space satellite that can send down enough microwaves to power a city can probably incinerate one or knock down ICBM's.) Instead of trying to decide the plowshare - sword controversy find a plowshare that can be used to kill someone when desired.
