[comp.lang.c] "Unbalanced Symbol Table" error -??

	Hi, everyone.  I am trying to get GNU CC version 1.37.91 to 
compile on a Sequent running PTX, and I am getting an error during
compiling that I don't understand:

Assembler: c-parse.tab.c
	aline 5579(cline 243): Unbalanced Symbol Table Entries-Too Many Scope Ends

	I have no idea what this means.  Any way to fix it, work around it,
etc?  Thanks for any help.
