Has anyone heard of the Coherent operating system for the pc?
It's a virtual clone of unix for the pc. It also includes its
own C compiler, debugger, linker, etc. Any comments.

Coherent is a strong product and a very viable replacement for the much outdated MSDOS. Coherent is a clone of version 7 Unix which, as I understand it, was the last great Unix release before the phone company started charging for it. There's a newsgroup called comp.os.coherent where all this can be discussed, and everyone has the courtesy of taking serious questions seriously.
