Hi Haresh, HA>"dangerous" is it once the project gets huge. Does one have to be an HA>expert designer in C++ in order to work with projects that grow in time? HA>[...] HA>However, I've heard of some big projects HA>that had been written in C++ and had to be abandoned after 2 years once it HA>got very large. I think these project was started with engineers without experience with C++. If yout try to use a little bit OOP and many C in C++ - you'll fail. Most people think, if programming with OOP-languages, they don't need a good design. It isn't so. The design in OOP programming is very, very importand. And you must know, how to use C++. Remember C++ isn't C! But if the design is ok, the product will be too. We have a 15 man year project completed with C++. And another 30 man year project is in work. I think C++ is very powerfull for big projects, but you must have good designers.
