[comp.lang.c] fread portability summary

Thanks to everyone who responded (Mitch Patterson, Chris Torek, Mike
Stefanik, Peter Schmitt, Raymond Chen, Steve Clamage, Torsten Weirich,
Martin Peter Howell, Wolfgang Denk, Dave Albertson).

The actual problem is that I'm trying to read a binary file originally
created on a big endian machine on a little endian machine.
