Dear All, Could any knowledgeable person(s) out there tell me if there is such a thing as a Modula-2 compiler (supporting PROCESSes) that will run under a Xenix o/s ? The reason I ask is that I want to implement a HLL on the HyperCubes at our establishment; which at the moment has FORTRAN and C on it. I have approached the LogiTech people at both CA and Switzerland and have received un-enthusiastic responses. So I'm back to square one. Apologies if this question has been raised before. DEC's Western Research Lab in Palo Alto has a very good Modula-2 that runs under Ultrix on a VAX. Whether it can be ported to other unix's I don't know. I think it is available only to educ and non-profits and is basically unsupported but from your path I assume that would be ok. It was written by Mike Powell and is claimed to generate code that runs faster than any other VAX compiler. -- Terry L Anderson AT&T Bell Laboratories -- Liberty Corners UUCP: ...!ihnp4!daimler!kaiser!tla TeleMail: Terry.Anderson (201) 580-4428
