Subject: Parser Generaters for Modula-2 I am currently involved in a project which is using Pascal rather than Modula-2, even we would prefer to be using the latter. The choice has been dictated by the availability of a suitable parser generater. We are currently using LLAMA which is written in standard Pascal and generates standard Pascal. Does anyone know of an equivalent utility which is written in Modula-2 (or Pascal) and generates Modula-2? I once heard of a program called Camel in a context which suggested that it may be a Modula-2 parser generater, but I don't know of any references to it. Any advice would be gratefully received, even if it is that no such utility is available, so we can keep on using Pascal (sigh). Thanks in anticipation, Tony Addyman.

Sorry about the delay in replying to this but I have been in and out of hospital and have only just got around to reading all the m2 mail. I have a verion of the Unix parser generator which I have extended to cope with Modula-2 as well as just C. Also pascal, Hope and Cajole. Given a push I could probably send diffs. If I ever get some free time again I'll update bison - the GNU parser generator - to cope with m2 as well.
