Like many professional programmers, Mike, Ross, and I had planned to start our own consulting/programming business. Well, leaving out all the dull stuff in the middle, we're up and running now. The problem is that all of us have our favorite tools, and of course they don't fit together. After a long bout of discussion, we decided to move to a new environment, preferably one that will help out in team-programming situations. So, we've agreed to move to Modula-2, mostly because of the inter-module consistency checks, as well as a few other nifties. Since nobody here has any leads into the Modula world, we'd like to hear your recommendations on compilers, screen managers, tutorial materials, reference books, etc. Of course, price is a consideration, but we do commercial production work here, and the tools have to be up to the task. If they aren't, our money has been wasted. So please, fire away.
