I'm looking for a good MODULA2 compiler to run on an AT&T 3b1 (7300). I once heard of a public domain one available somewhere in California (a naval research center or something like that.) I tried calling, however, the phone number given to me was disconnected. My basic question is, where can I find a public domain MODULA2 compiler and libraries? I would be interested in a good compiler for low cost, hopefully under $100. Any help or information on where I can get the compiler or of a relatively cheap compiler would be appreciated. Thanks, Robert(Bob) L. Beaver

There is a shareware compiler for MSDOS from Fitted Software Tools. It fits your price requirement, but is not high quality. The JPI and Logitech compilers may be what you want, but I have not heard of a public domain M2 compiler for any system anywhere. Your expectations may be too high; generally you have to pay for what you want to get.
