    Rob Warnock:

Another story in Herbert's "VoidShip" series is "Songs of a Sentient Flute"
in ANALOG, February 1979. The story was written as part of the projected "Medea"
anthology, edited by Harlan Ellison, in which a number of authors got together and
devised a planetary system including the planet Medea, and wrote stories in that
setting. Herbert's story merges the VoidShip universe with the Medea one.

In case you're interested, other stories in the Medea series that have been
published so far are:

"Seasoning" Hal Clement Asimov's SF Mag. Sep/Oct 78
"Swanilda's Song"	Frederik Pohl Analog Oct 78
"Hunter's Moon" Poul Anderson Analog Nov 78
"Farside Station"	Jack Williamson Asimov's SF Mag. Nov/Dec 78
"Concepts" Thomas M. Disch F & SF Dec 78
"Why Dolphins Don't Bite" Theodore Sturgeon	Omni Feb, Mar, Apr 80
"Flare Time" Larry Niven Amazing Nov 82
"The Mind of Medea"	Kate Wilhelm Omni Jan 83

There, I think that's all of them. Don't ask when this Medea anthology is
coming out, only God knows (and maybe Ellison, too, but I wouldn't count on it).
